Between commuting to Brooklyn and being super busy on weekends, I haven't had much time to update. I will say that Gali has been nothing short of fantastic lately, and I'm really hoping to get him out to the Meadow - even if it's just to school - when everybody goes in July.
Instead of writing about all of my rides, though, I just want to post a bunch of pictures of my pretty little horse. Enjoy.

Gali and my niece meeting for the first time. After a few minutes, both of them could only focus on the bag of cheez-its I brought out. |
Check behind the cut for Gali's fabio shots...
I mentioned in a previous post that PJ came down to get some pictures of us, and I expect he'll be out to take a lot more in the future, because he thought it was very cool and the farm is literally 5 minutes from where we live. These are all yanked from facebook because I am at work (oops!) so excuse the artifacts and low quality.
We started out by taking Gali to the round pen to play around:
| The walk to the arena. You can see how it's sort of isolated, and why Gali was so upset when we first moved in. |
| Fabio. |
| *blink* |
| I think this is my favorite shot of us, ever. |
| First time I've ridden him bareback since he dumped me a while ago and immediately off into the canter! |
| He's my couch. |
After we were done in the round pen, I brought Gali out to the big field that was just fenced in. There were no horses turned out in it because the farm is gradually transitioning horses over to the rich grass and they're only out there for a few hours at a time.
| When the camera came out, Gali needed no more encouragement. He knows the drill by now. |
| Now, if I could get that knee action while I'm riding... |
| Look at his dapples!! |
| Those are the fields they are transitioning from, and his buddy Easy had his eyes on us the whole time. |
| You can see how much chasing him upset him... |
| Treats for a job well done! |
