For the past week, I've been working on my "year in review" post whenever I've gotten the chance. However, since I'm done with school until the 21st & busy travelling back and forth between home and New Brunswick to work with Gali and take care of my kittens, I've barely had time to get online. So, I'm tabling the "year in review" post for a "year in review" bullet list:
In 2012, Gali and I:
- Took some really cool people sledding
- Moved to a barn five minutes from my house
- Started with weekly lessons for the first time in three years
- Got much better about riding outside, went on our first solo trail rides (they were short, but they count!)
- Went to our first* show: Won Intro B, Placed Intro A, Reserve Champion of the Division, Survived.
- Moved to a barn closer to Rutgers
- Survived a hurricane
In 2013, my goals are:
- Keep Gali sound, sane, happy and healthy
- Sled again!
- Participate in as many events/clinics as possible, starting with a de-spooking clinic in 2 weeks.
- Trail ride a little more, which means getting Gali okay with traffic
- Show training level with scores above 60%
