Yesterday, I couldn't get Gali to do a 15 m canter circle to the left. It just wasn't happening. He was ignoring my whip and spurs on his outside shoulder, blowing through my outside rein, and being a total jerk about everything. Second ride in a row where he was just fighting me every single step of the way.
The good news is that we ran through Training 2 without a hitch, and I think that test will go well. Unless tonight's lesson is a complete 180, though, I'm scratching from 1-1 this weekend. Ugh.
