I recently discovered Google's MyTracks application and used it for the first time today via my Android phone. I'm hoping Gali will soon be sound enough to go explore under saddle, but until then, I'll use it for our hand walks. My vet said that light riding work was okay for now, but this morning I just handwalked Gali around the track in each direction. We stopped a few times to graze, poke scary things, and say hi to friends. I was pretty much just testing the app, and I must say I am so impressed with its accuracy!
Gali began his bute regimen today. He'll have off tomorrow, and on Friday I think we'll go exploring in the woods with Lynn.
