I'm not as crushed as I was last May when this whole thing started. So far, I've been kind of numb to it. Today, his attitude kind of upset me, because I know he's not feeling right. That definitely hurts more than the thought of having to retire him early. I just want him to be happy.
I did just send an e-mail to my vet asking about getting radiographs to keep tabs on Gali's ringbone. He's so inconsistantly lame right now that I'd say he's a Grade
.5 - but his attitude tells me it feels worse than it looks. Or maybe I'm being paranoid. Either way, x-rays will show me how he's progressing (technically, regressing). While I'm thinking about it, I thought I'd share his photos from last May.
